If you are thinking of working with Marda Realty in either the purchasing of a home or the selling or your current one, you are in fabulous hands. As first time homebuyers the whole process was a new experience to us. From the beginning of the negotiating process until the close of escrow, our realtor, Marvin Lowe, diligently took the time to explain every aspect of the entire home buying process and joyfully answered our numerous questions. We came across many homes during our search and we had several different options. Marvin gave us excellent advice on how to obtain the most important features and remain within our spending range. Even when we felt like giving up and we thought about compromising on our desires, Marvin led us to continue searching until we found the home that met both of our needs and wants. He never made us feel rushed into writing an offer on something that both of us were not completely satisfied with.
At one point just before the close of escrow, a problem arose. We feel that if we were dealing with another realtor, we may very well have lost our house. But because of Marvin’s wisdom, knowledge and integrity, we were able to close the deal and have the keys to our new house the very next day.
Marvin’s professional skill and pleasant manor was of great assistance. We could not have asked for a more competent professional or more gracious person to help us with the purchase of our first house.

When I think of Marda Realty, the name Marvin Lowe comes to my mind. And what’s in the name Marvin Lowe? …please allow me to explain. Well, first and foremost, I think his last name, “Lowe”, is inappropriate. (I’ll have to talk to his parents!) I believe it should have been “Love”….for he exemplifies all the qualities of this latter name. It undoubtedly includes “Service”, “Kindness”, “Honesty”, “Patience”, “Integrity”…and the list goes on. Marvin not only helped my two boys and me sell our house in Lewisville and purchase the perfect home elsewhere, he did so in an incredible manner…..in a manner in which one does not normally experience in this day and age.
As we prepared our Lewisville home to be sold, Marvin showed his efforts and dedication through utilizing simple, yet effective advertisement techniques. I will not reveal his secrets in order not to tip off his competition. Within a couple of months I had a buyer!! Marvin is extremely personable, yet professional, and explained everything to me based on my level of understanding.
The second half of the mission was not as easy, that is, finding the perfect home. Had it not been for Marvin’s persistence and patience, we might have settled for another house that would not have compared to the one we ended up with. His negotiation skills proved to be tremendous! Just when I was about to settle in a bid, he counseled me further and convinced me that I could negotiate the deal even more. He managed to get the price down further and to have the seller make necessary repairs. Now what real estate agent would do this for his client, knowing that the more the client pays, the more the commission for him??? I’ll tell you who…..Marvin Lowe. This undoubtedly proved his honesty and integrity!!!!
Marvin views his job as a SERVICE to his client and takes nothing for granted. It is not merely about “making a living” for him, but instead, “a way to live”….by serving others. Marvin was truly a Godsend for us. My boys and I are extremely grateful for all he has done for us and we are happy to have found the perfect home.
